The smell of the woods and creek behind his house, where many an adventure were had. In my mind anyway.

My Grandpa Whitehair (Whitey) taught me to love the outdoors, there was always something more exciting going on out there. He worked with his hands, taught me to love vegetables, and to try any food once. He also gave me an intense interest in the pursuit of knowledge. An ode to the man, who in part, helped make me who I am.
